The south of England is currently being blessed with gorgeous warm weather and golden sunshine, miles away from the April showers we’re so used to! Today I met up with an old friend Richard, who travelled down from Coventry to come see me once I finished work.
I couldn’t resist a few outfit snaps on the walk back, on the hill leading up to my home. I live at the top of the valley, and you can see nearly the whole town if you walk to the right part of the hilltop. My playsuit was from eBay, though originally Topshop. The mustard jacket was from a charity shop and these are my favourite summertime brogues, they’re woven tan leather!
It was so nice to finish a shift and to walk home in beautiful sunshine!
We had homemade gourmet burgers (photos of which would have been far too unflattering!) and then sat drinking cider in the garden whilst Richard showed me his latest musical addition…
Richard plays a mean guitar, and is picking up the banjo pretty quickly too, he even let me have a go, but I think I’ll stick with six strings! (Plus he plays leftie and I don’t so re-figuring out chords can be so confusing!)
What a gorgeous afternoon!
