So to start with, I was recently snapped in Brighton by the lovely people at Publishmystyle.com.
Caught in the middle of having a mooch in Beyond Retro, I was quite happy to oblige, and give them a shot outside despite the freezing weather.
The coat I am wearing is vintage faux fur, with pale floral tights from Urban Outfitters and Oxford brogues.
I really needed the coat in the freezing Brighton breeze! It’s so warm and snuggly! (Check out Joshua’s enviable faux fur cossack hat!)
And also without much further ado, introducing some of my recent finds!
I couldn’t resist this adorable tweed bow tie, and pressed flowers in a teeny little frame.
The record was also a must, it has so many songs off my itunes on it.
As a huge Roald Dahl fan I feel I now have to extend that affection towards his Granddaughter Sophie.
‘The Man with the Dancing Eyes’ is a beautiful illustrated, wonderfully written little delight of a book.
It looks a little bit like a sophisticated children’s book, with splashy, inky drawings, and gorgeously girly little paragraphs such as the ones shown in the photos below.
I definitely recommend finding a copy!
(I wish someone would feed me toast and marmalade in the bath!)
This beautiful vintage silk scarf reminded me so much of the debutante young ladies of yesteryear that I couldn’t resist it’s pretty floaty charm!
And of course…a rummage in a scarf bin could not result in just one being pulled out now could it?
A £4 bargain! I have a real love for little wicker picnic baskets!
And I know I don’t normally touch on beauty products, but this nail polish by ‘Models One’ in Grace Green is my new favourite finger decoration! The matt Jade colour is so versatile, and the polish is really resilient.
So there you have it, you now have a perfect idea of where my money has been frittering away this month!
Love Yours Truly, x
